FRIDAY, 3/11 -> Don’t miss your chance to celebrate the music of James Yancey aka Jay Dee aka J Dilla alongside some of Denver’s biggest Dilla fanatics. DJ Low Key & Lazy Eyez will be rocking all your favorite Dilla classics, rarities, remixes, b-sides & more from 8-12pm at Denver’s premier boutique, Family Affair (21st & Larimer downtown). It’s our 5th time paying tribute to one of the best producers ever and after collaborating with Slum Village and Stones Throw over the last few years, you already know we’re gonna remind you why you love Dilla all over again. Free donuts and no cover, but donations to Ma Dukes are encouraged. And oh yeah, we’ll have a couple of guest hosts in the building that you won’t wanna miss!!!
Update: Thanks to a generous contribution from Top Shelf Vodka and our good friends at Red Bull, there will be complimentary Red Bull/Vodkas (while supplies last).
